Delirious Gig

I went to the Delirious Gig on Saturday night at the O2 centre in Greenwich.  Such a fantastic night - 2350 people packed into a room at one of the trendiest music venues in London, enjoying the music and all worshipping God.  It all felt very free and in a bizarre sense, 'not front led', since you always feel like the band are more interested in singing to God before singing to the crowd.  I wish I had taken some of my own pictures to put with this entry...  I love worshipping God in a big international crowd of young and old.  

Pleased with myself to be home in bed by an almost respectable 12.30am, I then realized it was actually 1.30am due to the clocks change :-|  

Delirious have a new album coming out in a couple of weeks.  'Kingdom of Comfort' is an album heavily influenced by witnessing poverty first hand as the band have travelled through the more deprived parts of the globe.  

In case anyone still reads this....

Thank you for praying for me about getting a new job.  There are a few other possibles, but I wanted to drop a note and let you know I got a decent offer today.  It is working in London, but the commute would be significantly less than that at O2.  I intend to spend the weekend thinking things over and will need to give a reply on Monday or Tuesday.  God is our provider.

sorry if this is getting repetitive, but ....

if anyone can help do some decorating type stuff any evening next week for a few hours then we would be extremely grateful.   We are away for the weekend on holiday so I won't get much done.  Have a great weekend and we'll see you all soon.

Bought a house

So exciting we've bought the house we liked in Olivers Battery.  God is so faithful, we spent all of last night talking about the many stories we have of his faithfulness and goodness to us as a family -  How good is he to us through all of lifes ups and downs.

Thank you to all of you for your love, support and faithful prayers. Ask Jon about his unique counselling style when Andy was at his lowest but  God knew it was exactly right for that moment.  

It's good to share life with you all
